As some of you may know, star was: force awakens trailer was released today. You may also know, I am a huge fan of wars and am in the crowd of thinking JJ Abrams is a hack. I have tried to avoid wars news, buts it’s hard for me not to be up to date on it. And while is dislike JJ I have been a bit reserved in on all the hype/judgment sounding it. With all these factors I have been waiting for this trailer to decide my hype factor for it. So with it here and with all my rage for JJ, nostalgia ruining Hollywood, hype machine, here’s my gut reaction.

Loved it! Well I should say pleasantly surprised, but then again my expectation bar was well in check. After the prequels and trek reboot my bar was set really really low. Even though it’s only a 1~ clip, you can still tell it’s going to be better than those. That and money was spent making sure things will not get f-d up. I still think JJ’s is not that "great" but he is a lot better than Lucas (who becomes a one man green screen machine). some shots really gave me the shivers so that's  something working for it.(X-wings over lake OMFG) I was preparing for some crushing blow and in no way a minute long clip going to make me explode and expert excellence  now, but I am pretty impressed with the tone and special effects. Though it kind of has the JJ Abrams "nostalgia "tm thing going on. My only other complaints are everything still seems a bit too shiny to me. I was really hoping for more grit like the originals.. But I guess I just have to wait and see...

Anywho, what did you guys think? Do you care about the new wars or wars in general? Is JJ still a hack or finally living up to his own hype?

I am a 27 year old shut in, from a very rural area of Vermont. I live there with my wonderful wife and fantastic daughter. ohhh and the many many critters that share our property with us. seeings how there is not much to do around here I keep my self busy with my many animals and building models and dioramas.
I am a little bit of a weirdo and I think that shows in my dioramas. I enjoy thinking up weird scenes and then trying to build them.
If anyone has any questions about my work, I am more than happy to try to answer them.

Hey do you know if you have the ability to copy deviations from one folder to another on All-Military? I'm assuming so. Just wondering because it would be helpful if we could both occasionally copy good pieces from whatever folders they're submitted to, to the featured folder. I just copied a few new ones right now but I'm not always on so as long as it lets you do it, feel free to do so if you see new deviations in the group that look good! Also I try to pick a variety usually, so not more than say 2 out of a single folder at one time--just so that it's not all the same lol. Thanks!

I'm pleased if some of my work inspires you, for my part, your work always gives me the motivation to make more models.
Short days will probably allow me to make some (I've got two tanks ready to be built).
See your work soon !

You got some awesome works there bud, love the Stryker.  It must get pretty $$$$$ with all the additional accessories on top of the original kit itself...
