Hi I am Enc86(Shawn) a 30 year old scale miniature enthusiast. I love building, kitbashing, scratch building and painting scale models. I have been building/painting different subjects for about five years now. I love to think up and create crazy scale model that are rarely "realistic" or "historically accurate" but I have more fun that way. Little rules, tons of time and loads of plastic and pant go into my work. I tend to bounce around subjects but my favorites are tanks/military vehicles, sci-fi, mecha and post-apocalyptic, and I tend to sometimes mash them altogether. My preferred scale to work in is 1/35 but I tend to build anything I can get my grubby hands on. I try my best and over the course of the last few years have improved ability’s. I have alot of fun with my hobby and as you probably can see, don't take myself too seriously.

I live in a peaceful, very rural small town in the tiny state of Vermont in the USA. i live in the "north east kingdom" region and is about as "picturesque woodland" as you can get. When I am not building scale models I am hanging out with my wife, our two daughters, dogs, cat ,rabbits and chickens. I am a stay at home dad and home maker by day and by nights turn into some sort of scale modeling madman. I take inspiration mostly from movies and video games as well as many of my wildly awesome fellow deviants.

If you have any questions, comments about my work or just want to bounce ideas, feel free!

i make the collages from a photo program i use, "photoscape". its free and super duper easy to use. there are other collage options ect too.  most of my photos have some sort of brightness, level adjustments as well as cropping, which i use the same program for.

ohhhh awesome dude! that suit is pretty dang killer and i here the model is one of the best RG they have made. should be fun and badass for you.  it will be a pretty straightforward model, and should not require much glue even. just be careful when you decide to use glue as loads of stuff moves ect. allso it is on the smaller side so just take your time and i would not recommend  posing/playing with it too much, in till you have most of its armor on. allso its up to you, but i think the stickers that come with the kits look pretty bad no matter what(as they will always look like stickers)
allso a little trick i do, i when i carefully remove the nubs, ill use my fingernail to scratch the plastic nub. the fingernail scratching almost completely removes the mark, which is good if you don't plan on painting to much.
for the RG i just did(and the one i am working on now) i pretty much only painted details, weathering and topcoat.

yea that suit is super duper badass, i have the MG(master grade 2.0) version of that suit, i built up years and years ago. i love the bulky proportions of it.  yea it should look hella cool weathered and should be a nice project to take your mid off things(have been for me at least)
a commercial pilot would be a great gig, i wish you luck friend!

Stop watching Star Wars trailers. Its best to go in with little expectations. I've only watched the teaser that was released a while ago. Everyday when I wake up, I look in the mirror and repeat this mantra, "JJ will not let me down" go with it.

hahaha but its sooooo hard for me not to. i have only seen it like 40 times now. jj has let me down in the past so i am bit apprehensive."JJ will not let me down,JJ will not let me down,JJ will not let me down"
anywho i think ill try to take your advise. i had to cut myself off from watching the new mad max trailers and the hype train, as i am going to see it tonight and my head might exploded from anticipation.
