Here is my Trumpeter 1/35 Soviet Aerosan. this thing is crazy and is extremely fragile. think if i looked at it wrong it would break. can only imagine riding one of these crazy things around Russia and scouting German patrols, but i gotta admit this thing looks fun(but in a scary kinda way)
the kit was pretty cheap too, around $8us and for what it is , its very nice. good fits, no flash and a interesting piece of history. but it does have some very fragile parts, the rear propeller guard was a big pain, with the thin plastic bars and almost no contact points.
I painted mine in flat white, with dry brush weathering in jet exhaust and rust, and added a light brown wash to stain the white. think it came out nice and has that really beat up,used look.
As luck would have it i received in the mail to day this beast "big brother" the Soviet Armored aerosan [link] , that i might build next, and have a monster attack them both!

Note: while i doesn't show, it was getting pretty cold out (8 f and dropping), and my hands are freaking cold and red as heck. time to warm up!

I have considered to build one in reallife, and add a wheel system, and go on the highways like they do in Russia!
Awesome made!!!!

thanks dude! while not my most detailed model, this and its "big brother" i am working on, had the thinnest, most pain in the a$# parts i have ever experienced. feel like if i look at them wrong they will fall apart!

I've never seen this kit before. Interesting subject to say the least.
And, for what it's worth. I agree with master-ninjabear.
