this was a request from :iconwarrior1944: to see how the Abrams and Tiger 1 sized up together. while the Abrams is a bit bigger, the tiger is taller. both tanks are almost the same width and the tigers tracks are much bigger.

note: the tigers hatches are not glued because i do have a crew for it i am working on.

I had no idea the WW2 German Tiger was that big. I know about them and their reputation and the fear they evoked in the allies.

But that is a big cat as well as a bad cat. (Keep in mind the 80 designed M-1 it is next to is 70-Tons).

Great job on the models & the photography.

can somebody tell me where to get a toy tiger tank like the one in the picture

:iconenc86:
i can, but its a model. it requires assembly and paint.
this is where is got mine [link]

what kind of assembly? just screws and snap-ons?

sheets and sheets of tiny plastic parts and requires plastic glue, and paint for the right color and weathering. i would say this tiger is about 2oo+ parts.
this is an Abrams UN-assembled [link] to make a model will take some time, patience and practice.
