My finished 1/35 Abrams. this kit was pretty fun, but i did have a few missteps and mistakes along the way.in the next couple of days ill do a write up of those in my journal( lol there is a few of them) In the end i am happy with the outcome, tho i could of done better. my biggest goal for this tank was to make it look different than the other Abrams models i have seen on DA, and i would say mission accomplished. sitting on my shelf it definitely catches the eye.
the kit was a 1/35 tamiya Abrams "operation Iraqi freedom". the figurines were stock with the kit, and most of the equipment came with the model as well. a few things( the m-4 and ration boxes ect) were from random kits i had laying around. the decals are a weird mix of Abrams, merkava, and strike noir gundam decals.
the main body color is Dark ghost grey, and the secondary colors are navy aggressor gray and euro grey. after my last three models being "historically accurate" it was fun to get to go hog wild and paint this beast up weird.
ohhhh and mind any rabbit hair you see, a rabbit might of tried to eat the Abrams.
