Allies from across the pond by enc86 Allies from across the pond by enc86
A quick size comparison between my 1/35 trumpeter challenger 2 and 1/35 Tamiya Abrams. Its kind of cool to see the modern British and American tank design side by side. While they have some similar lines/angles I think the challenger 2 is just a little slicker looking.
Fire at will boys!

The Abrams design is starting to look old now.
It's the most overrated tank Next to the Leo 2

yea it really is, was thinking that just the other day. even with the TUSK upgrade, shes starting to look old. wonder what the final M1A3 will look like.

yea i sure if someone reads this they might get mad at me, but i agree(well i think for its time the Abrams was pretty badass) but i am not a HUGE fan of the leo2. i know its a great tank and has some awesome design elements, but overall i am not huge into them. the only reason why i made my leo3 is because at least once a week someone would ask me about making a leo2.

personally for overall looks and design, much more of a fan of British challengers and JGSDF armor.

Challenger 2 looks so streamline and almost futuristic.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Leopard 2 1979
M1 Abram 1980
Challanger 1 1983
AMX Leclerc 1993
Challenger 2 1998
----------------------------------------------------------------
So yeah Challenger 2 is the still most modern Western Tank even up to this day (Does not include the T-84 from Ukraine)

If WW3 Breaks out next year we'll see if the Leo 2 is a Tiger or a Pussy :P

I've been buffing up tanks for this mod and I've made the Challenger 2 and it's brother Megatron the strongest tanks, they're almost unstoppable but they can be destroyed with the right amount of firepower or a lucky shot.

it really is a sexy beast, didn't know off hand it was the most modern for that area(really really like the Leclerc for crazy reasons, have been waiting to get good, to make a kitbash with one)
Japan has a type 10,produced in 2010(looks to me has alot of elements from the french this time around) allso china has some really cool looking toys(tho i would have to Google a bit) Really like their deign choices, deciding to use elements, a"best of" on their tanks.
did not know about the 84 upgrade(ill look it up) honesty i am not very knowledgeable on the Russian produced tanks(can see the torches and pitch forks now) i respect them and their tanks, but from just the looks/style they are not what i go for. its pretty easy to tell if you really look over what tanks i have build lol.

yea thing is even tho i don't get into their armor much, from what i do know, they really are some of the best. would hate for a full on WW3(and don't think that would happen) it seems like things keep brewing, sadly their will be a conflict.
maybe a more realsisic and toned down version of "world in conflict" European chapter story. pretty awesome game if you haven't played it(cheap on steam too)

I have played world on Conflict wasn't happy with it, I prefer the semi-realism of Wargame Red Dragon with over 1500 different units from 17 different nations form the years 1875 to 1991 with prototype units up to 1995 (you only get like 2 or 3 of the prototype units)
America really wants to provoke Russia but they aren't falling for it.

see i really liked it for what it was, streamlined action.

i dont have red dragon yet but do own European escalation. really freaking epic,in dept game! dont even know if its a fair comparison lol.

yea i don't know whats wrong with my country sometimes. just when we were finial starting to get along with them on a political level, people in my government realsised how much "better" things were during the cold war. easier to get the fear vote if you have the red menace .

hopefully that comment will not be taken outta context if anyone reads it(and thus why i don't comment on political stuff alot) just that to me it makes more sence to be freinds with russia(and many more) than to try to smear or provoke , even if we feel that what they are doing is wrong. from a moral standpoint, we really don't have a leg to stand on.
