Bezwingers Panzer Collage by enc86 Bezwingers Panzer Collage by enc86
the Bezwingers Panzer or roughly translated "Vanquisher tank" was a late war wunder weapon produced by the SS in the vain hopes of stopping the allies and uber creatures. using backward engineered alien technology the vanquisher tank featured a 180mm plasma cannon, dual mounted machine gun commanders turret, ionized gas reactor, battering ram, reactive armor plating and advanced targeting/vision systems. with the ability to literally melt enemy targets, the vanquisher lived up to its name. all tho not enough to win the war, it was a highly sought after piece of technology and it is unknown which side recovered it.

this is my kitbashed 1/35 Bezwingers Panzer, built from a old Tamiya Jagdtiger and random bits.painted with enamels, weathered with art acrylics and pastels. the figurine was from my Frankenstein stash(head from my "Geheimer Zwischenfall" diorama) this one was made for my buddy :iconshank117: for being awesome, and always sending me awesome and random stuff to work on. anyways he wanted a crazy, over the top, death machine and hopefully i succeeded in that. for the most part i am happy with how it all come out and really has me itching to do more and more like this.
big thanks to :icondrake263: for helping come up with the name!

thanks!
its pretty much kitbashed from other kits, dont really think they make conversions for this kinda stuff. so much of what you see is random junk i had on hand(car parts,1/35 parts and gundam parts) glued on,modified, and painted to look the part.  if your intrested this is what the model was like when i first go it Shank117 is too AWESOME  then once i got the bits on, its easy to see some of the work once it got primed Primed for Battle

So cool! I f*in love the first shot with the cannon right at the front! The painting is just phenomenal, I love how you have chips in the most rusted areas. Its details like those that really make apiece stand out!

Well, the little s on the Bezwinger marks it as the tank of the Bezwinger. If the tank itself should be the Bezwinger, leave the s ;)

I love this model. All the little details, the cyber-arm of the commander, all the bitz that make it look sort of futuristic and post-apocalyptic at once, the battle damage and the dirty tracks make this a true masterpiece.

I prefer online dictionarys over Google translate, as they are way more accurate. Anyway, feel free to ask, if you need some translations ;)

How do you make such great scratch effects?  How do you do such a fine blend of practical and quirky?

the scratches and dings are pretty fun to do, and the effects are done a few different ways(most of them are with a knife and square mirco file)
yea its a fine line on how much to add(i tend to go overboard) but yea i pretty much just eyeball everything and hope for the best!

I also have spare parts from my other 1/35 kits all kept in one box when I was done with the models so I may also add them to my Abrams :) in which by the way still isn't even primed yet because the primer I got from my local hobby sotre is awful, it wont sparead with a brush and doesn't come through the airbrush?? D:

cool, thats pretty much what i did to my Abrams! all those extras really start adding up, gotta find something to do with them.

that sucks dude, sounds like it needs to be thinned a bit. i would go with the airbrush rout(i dont know of many that hand prime their kits)
what i do is buy the rattle cans for primer, no need to thin of mess around with an airbrush, instant priming anytime i need it. and from what i understand you dont even need to get primer made for modles, you can get stuff that will work just fine at hardware store.

well some of the parts are all left over from other models, i have broke down a few older ones and even bought a few models just for parts. alot of other stuff is just random junk bought at yard sales/dollar stores and broke down as well.

thank you.
see i am not too sure about its size(with out driving myself mad with math and conversions)
the cannon was heavily modified and just a bit bigger than my E100's(wich was 170mm) so i guesstimated and went with 180.
