Freki Battlewagon Interior by enc86 Freki Battlewagon Interior by enc86
Out in the wasteland you never know what you will run into, from raiders to giant chickens. You lean to load your Freki Battlewagon to the max and it almost becomes a home away from home. Good thing it's got a lot of space, never know when you will find a slightly used mattress or snazzy almost new flip flops, those things are worth some gold pressed latinum and a good night back in town!

This is the interior section of my 1/35 Freki Battlewagon, a kitbashed Humvee. When I first built this Humvee I had to glue the roof shut (warped poor fit), rushed everything and didn't give it any stowage or interior. That always bugged me and I am happy I was able to correct that mistake this time around. I was able to build up the roof a bit with styrene and after hours of work, have made it so the roof will sit perfect but still be able to be removed quite easily. Hopefully that work is worth it and will be a neat gimmick to show off in real life.

This part of the build was very fun and you can imagine me for hours obsessing where everything will go. I wanted to give it an almost diorama kind of feel and while don't think I nailed it, I think it looks the part all right.

So how do you think you didnt nail the diorama feel? I look at this and I think of whole stories around this one vehicle! great work as usual. its like a where's Waldo, find the flip flops!

ahhh thanks dude! sometimes i am just hard on myself i guess. i mean several of my friend IRL say thats there fav one of mine(looks a bit better not zoomed in with a camera) but then again, if i was ever realy happy i would get stuck in a rut and not try to top myself. so in a way its good i am always a bit critical of myself..

Too true! Just dont be too over critical, you've gotta big yourself up sometimes! haha...

I am the same way, never good enough for my own standards, but always improving.
