July 24, 1940, somewhere in north Africa. while on patrol a lone German armored car gets lost in a sand storm. after the storm and very lost, with the heat bearing down on them, they see a simmering light in the distance. they thought that they would find the rest of their unit. they were not prepared for what they found......

so anyways here is my finished diorama Geheimer Zwischenfall(classified incident ) while i had wanted to do more with this one, there is wicked bad weather for this week and i really wanted to get this one done before i started anther project. so sometime i might go back to this one and add a few things that got left out do to time constraints( its starting to rain right now!)

Some of the Elements

the Armored car: a a 1/35 Tamiya Sd.Kfz.232 "afrika-Korps"
very fun and detailed kit. went together like a dream

The UFO: two plates glued together and painted silver. lol but i think you guessed that.

The Figurines: the two guys on the ground are from a 1/35 tamiya Field command set, that i had laying around. a couple on very minor conversions were made to make them African corps. the car driver is a stock with kit

the Aliens: i made both out of Sculpt and painted them up. this was the first time i sculpted something for a build. lol making the hurt and dead aliens made me so sad lol.

The base: pretty standard build and didn't really do anything different than i normally do, the grass is just that, cut dried grass form my lawn

thanks everyone for looking, hope you enjoyed it! i feel so bad for the poor aliens that i might have to make a diorama where they get revenge against the Germans!

Awesome! I love the clean, sci-fi look of the flying saucer and the rickety dusty look of the military truck. This scene reminds me of those classic flying saucer films!
