Description

So here is my 1/35 Academy Hummer. I put a poll up on my page of what i should make next and much to my surprise the hummer won. i really wasn't prepared for the hummer to take it, but hey i am not one to complain. this kit was greatly detailed and had more parts than some of the tanks i have worked on. this kit also came with tons of extras and gear, but seeings how i am running kinda low on stowage, i decide to keep this one tidy and save all that wonderful junk for another build.
Seeings how i wasn't prepared to build the hummer i had to hunt in my paint box for some colors, and while the camo is a bit weird i think it kinda works. the colors use were:
Model Masters navy aggressor gray
Model Masters Panzer gray (or crazy long German name for it)
Model Masters Sand.
with my usual brown wash and little bit of jet exhaust dry brushed, this beast looks like it would be tons of fun in the snow. happy to get this one done so my models 2013 folder isn't empty(damn ocd)

Note: these photos came out much darker than i had hoped. i did try to use the white board to reflect light but the weather has been crazy, it took a lot just to hold the camera steady was about 2f outside. seeings how the weather is gonna get much worse i am just happy to get shot of this one before it collects dust.

Good work on the model and the photo, but I hope that the snow is not the area this vehicle is sent to because the camo does not fit for that. =P
