Yukon had a bad feeling about all of this,the cold, the snow, the monster he was spots to be hunting. it all didn't sit well, he would rather be off defending his homeland than chasing down some crazy snow beast that probably didn't exist.
When rumors circulated about the Germans being terrorized by incredible giant chickens, Stalin become obsessed. he wanted a monster of his own, one to unleash on the Nazi's. thats how Yukon got stuck in the bathtub on ski's with his hard drinking friend Demetri.
"Looks like there's something up ahead" yelled Demetri over the incredible propeller engine.
"Be safe Demetri, their could be Germans lurking about"
as the aerosani slowed down, they could see there was indeed something. it appeared to be a german half track, strangely deserted, but with vodka and liquor strewn about.
"what in the name.." was all Yukon could utter before Demetri was out the door and rejoicing in his find.
"it's vodka, and lots of it, i am gonna be warm tonight!" Demetri yelled with joy.
"Demetri, be cautious, it could be a German trap" yukon said sternly.
"calm by brother, and try the nectar" he said as he gave yukon a bottle.
yukon popped the cork and took a sip, while he was uneasy, he had to savor the find.what luck he thought and tried to think of happier times. but questions still nagged as he enjoyed himself. why would this be here? where did the Germans go?. it was then he noticed something blue and gray out of the corner of his eye.....

so her is my diorama of a poor group of Russian getting ambushed by a snow monster. heavily inspired by [link] sculpted by me and my daughter. while not as good as alot of sculptures i see, i was happy with him and i think i am slowly getting better at it.

this was a pretty chilly and fun diorama to do. i dont have a lot of space so i thought this one would look great without a base and out in the snow. had a ton of fun and didn't break anything in the process! all in all, a win in my book.
