MG Jesta Custom

Description

Here is my Finished 1/100 Master Grade Jesta model. Hand painted and weathered, with the exception of flat black, primer (krylon) and spray top coat (testors dull) I built this kit as a nice diversion from 1/35(and a procrastination project, as I should of been building a diorama) This kit was pretty dang incredible and allot of fun to paint, put together, and of course play with XD  For the most part I built him "outta the box" swapped beam saber color and gave him old MG handguns and a knife.

MG gundam kits have always been a bit intimidating to me. They contain allot of parts (moving parts too) are pretty complex and there is allot to screw up. Years ago I built a few MG's without paint and thought I would never reach a level where  could paint one. Anyways with this build I wanted to keep it simple and not take too much on. While I had a bunch of smaller mistakes and I am not incredibly impressed with some of my effects, I am pretty proud of what I was able to accomplish on this one. Being a bit unsatisfied is a good thing as it will make me want to do even better on the next one of these I build.

Anyways I built this guy in the hopes of getting tons of pictures of him. This weekend I hope to see how he does outside and do a bit more of a goofy photo shoot. I got a few more "accessories" I am working on for him that will be done this weekend if the weather is good......
