how did you manage to get that "weathered" look on the gundam? Very impressive!

thanks!i used a variety of methods to damage and scar the kit,ie heated paperclip(burns and bullet holes)model files(cuts and scraps)and i think i used a drummal tool as well. i then added thin black, and brown washes to the kit. and did some metallic dry brushing. it was a scary process on an expensive kit. lol i think i really really over weathered it.

I am glad you made these decisions. I paint miniatures sometimes, and I have a client who likes Warhammer 40K. This will prove pretty useful when it comes to making these warmachines look just right, Thanks!

even tho i do a lot of paper stuff this is actually a plastic model kit.
its a MG(master grade) gundam. if u wanted to make one for your boyfriend i would suggest getting a HG(high grade). master grades are more complicated and cost on ave around 50-60 bucks(us). a high grade are good for beginners and can be bought for under 20.[link] is the store i use for my gundam models.
