one lone zombie V.S the xr-78"overkill". who will win? the decaying zombie or the massive mech armed to the teeth?the undead or a massive rail gun?
Finished diorama of overkill. first things first ,this is a kit bash( lots of different kits and junk thrown together)so i will try to state what i used but some things on this guy are completely random. the whole project took me about three days, two days of witch i was suffering for a nasty head cold my niece gave me. in the end i could of done thing better but i am happy with the results. i all so got to try out my new pastel set(used for weathering). i learned a bunch and tested out some new techniques and was quite the fun little project.
this guy is mostly a 1/100 NG gundam that i bought by accident and never returned. i ended up haveing two of the same model and i was using a lot of the parts and such as tester for different weathering and damage techniques.this is a shot of the finished gundam in question( [link]
) as you can see , other than the legs the XR-"Overkill" is quite different. But there is an assortment of other random G.I.joe, clock, Tank and car parts on him. the driver is an extra 1/35 figurine from my m60. the paint is Euro gray, desert sand, with jet exhaust for the metal highlights/weathering. i use black and the red brick brown pastels for the weathering(new to me). over all for only three days work, i think he came out good. for more info on the base go to [link]
for info on the materials i used on that.
oh and please be gentle if you critic my work, i am still new to making models( about 2 years in) and thanks if you take the time to critic it, i hope on improving my skills throu the years.
