ohhh man that would be awesome, tho i dont think i have seen one yet. i am not really into the designing side of papercraft but there might be someone here on DA that would be willing to do it.

It's interesting cause in my own sci-fi literature attempts are similar ships. Similar type of ships.. If you compare .. hm BSG, Star Trek, Star Wars etc..

I'm kind of new, I've built a couple small ones; a little model of the World Trade Center, and a few Arwings form the StarFox video games, but I haven't built anything like Galactica, so yeah I will definitely check out your tutorial.

if you have built a few this wont present any massive problems for you.there a couple of parts you might want to make custom tabs for, to make the build easier and the direction sheet is kinda vague. but its really not that hard, i made a wall mount(have tutorial for that as well) and it looks great when finished.

I'll keep that in mind about the extra tabs, I also plan on gluing the parts to a thin poster board first that way it will be a little more sturdy.

i would not worry about the poster board. i use card stock and mine is quite sturdy.the fist one i made i was fiddling around with the wall mount and it took a five foot fall, not one thing out of place(didn't have landing bays on yet tho)

i saw your whole gallery and damn your good , you have some works with a lot of details and so similar to original version . how many hours you took for this one ?

:iconenc86:
enc86 Featured By Owner Mar 7, 2012
thanks, as for time to do a project it all depends.a small papercraft maybe 2 or 4 hours, while a big papercraft is somewhere from 10-25 hours. i have done the battlestar twice now and it takes me about fur days total so it say this piece was around 10-15 hours. thanks again, ill have to check out your gallery!
