Out in the wasteland you need a reliable vehicle and the "Screaming Hawk" is just the ride for it! Featuring a overcharged engine, dual mounted machine guns, seating for two, turbo injector and mono AM/FM radio! It Provides decent armor protection from all the nasty critters and wasteland hero's. the Screaming Hawk will suit all your plundering, raiding, and hunting needs! Pillage the wastes in style!

"Screaming Hawk" was build with a very old (and missing parts) 1/35 German armored car( sd.kfz 250 ) Built up with extra details form the bits boxes. features two figurines(one custom) and extra stowage/gear. painted in dark tan, rust, euro gray "Model Masters" enamels and weathered in brown acrylics and pastels.
like how this one came out, and really has a max mad/fallout vibe. this project has me thinking about maybe doing a modern tank crazy like this. I haven't really beat up a tank yet and i think in this style it might be pretty sweet.

This is very cool and yes, it would be fun to see what you'd do with a tank in this style. That could be really killer! :D

thank you!
doing some post apocalyptic tanks is something i have wanted to do since i started making tanks last year but never got around to. well i made my Bradly in that theme and tried doing my Abrams that way but they both dont quite look the part.
hopefully with some of my new skills and experience i can make something good.

Yeah, because in a post-apocalyptic future, who needs stereo radio? ;)

Love it! You've once again absolutely captured that Mad Max-vibe (can't compare it to Fallout, as I've never played it, to my shame).

Looking forward to it, and I'm really itching to try out some models for myself soon.

I've been meaning to try Fallout 3 for some time now, but my PC up and died on me, so until I can have it fixed, there's not much gaming for me these days. This laptop I'm on just ain't cut out for any heavy-duty games.

Yeah, but I could never get into those, I used to watch my brother play Fallout 2, and it never really hooked me. Of course, they are available on the cheap from both gog.com og Steam, so maybe, in a moment of boredom... ;)
