Description

Wheres bob, a 1/35 diorama of a man being run over by a tank, while the crew looks for him. first things first, this is not a realistic build in any way. i kinda used what i got ,so yea... its a desert paint job, with dirt wreathing,in a forest scene. i didn't really plan this one out and i kinda just made it up as i went along.over all tho i am happy with the results.

The tank:
1/35 Tamiya-M60A1 with reactive armor
it was a pretty fun build. i leaned a lot seeings how its been awhile since i built a tank.i don't have an air brush yet so i hand painted everything.i lost the back tow hook and forgot to put Polly caps in the back tank sprockets .over all i am impressed that i didn't break anything and only lost one part.i have left off a few detail items, i feel like the piece didn't really need then( i might use them latter)

the Figurines
1/35 academy idf tank crew
i have never really done figurines before, and this was pretty fun. bob came from this set and my wife suggested that he should be being run over.after that i just couldn't resist!

The base.
this was a quick job.some random board from the barn, that i cut to fit and painted black.some rocks and sticks from outside and some dollar store moss.

man i learned a lot during this build. i the biggest lesson i learned was planing. i dint have a plan going into this(was a t model store and just bought whatever) in my next build i am gonna try to plan as much as possible before hand and improve upon what i have learned. got a couple of weeks or random stuff(maybe some papercraft) and them i am on to my next diorama

oh and please be gentle if you critic my work, i am still new to making models( about 2 years in) and thanks if you take the time to critic it, i hope on improving my skills throu the years.

first of the tank looks wonderful the lins of paint do not blur the use of foliage is very realistic. The caracters in this picture are well constructed for the picture and there has been an effective use of weathering for this tank the perspective of the picture itself shows the power and weight of the tank and the scene is hilarious the reason for the 4 star is only that it is a basic kit with no extra bought detail( peiced track photoetch etc.) but it is an expertly built stock kit that conveys a funny picture and i myself in truth do no put on extra stuff most of the time so bravo wonderful model kit
